The Crab Nebula (M1) in Taurus

Taken from 02 September 2007 to 22 September 2007 and processed on the 23 September 2007

H-alpha (12) 10-minute subframes – 120 min

O III (15) 10-minute subframes – 120 min

S II (12) 10-minute subframes – 120 min

Total Time 350 minutes

Taken with Takahashi BRC-250 and ST-10XME with CFW-10 filter wheel using Astrodon narrow band filters

The image was composed with an Optec Pyxis rotator and focused with the FLI DF2 focuser

All of this was on the MI-250 Mount on the Pier Tech 3 Pier

Image capture with MaximDL focusing with FocusMax and CCDAutopilot 3 automation software

Observatory control with the ELK M1 OASYS system

Image processing with CCDAutopilot, MiraPro, and Adobe Photoshop CS3
