We are pleased to introduce the new Mountain Instruments NON THREADED stainless steel counter weight shaft for use on your MI-250. Our new counter weight shaft and counter weight sets are for those of you that prefer a smooth counter weight shaft over our traditional threaded shaft.

The 16" long by 1.25" o.d. shaft is made from 303 stainless, machined, threaded, and polished for an attractive appearance. The threading is 1"-8 t.p.i., which is the same as your original threaded shaft.

The 10 and 20 pound counter weights are basically the same as the original with the exception of a convenient knob for tightening the weight to the shaft. The tightening bolt has a nylon tip for shaft surface protection. The weights are machined, chamfered, and powder coated white for a durable, long lasting finish. The bore has a press fit bronze bushing for added shaft protection.
